Witney Refugee Action Group presented their Witney Warm Welcome blanket in Parliament this week, as part of the 'Museum without a Home' exhibition by Oxfam and Amnesty International. Robert met with the group and saw the completed blanket, where he had drawn a message on a square of the quilt
Robert said, "I was pleased to join Breast Cancer Now in Parliament to promote 'Wear it Pink' day on 19th October - and even swapped my usual blue rosette for pink!"

Robert this week hosted an event in Parliament to raise awareness of the fantastic John Egging Trust.
On 20th August 2011, Flt Lt Jon Egging lost his life whilst completing a display at the Bournemouth Air Festival.
Robert said, "Thank you to organisers for yet again putting on a fantastic fair, with lots of excellent stalls showcasing the best of the Wychwood Forest area!".
Robert said, "Thank you to Judy, Brian and the team at Advance for inviting me to celebrate the Starts at Home campaign, which highlights the vital difference supported housing makes to thousands of people in the UK."
Robert said, "It is important to host my advice surgeries all over West Oxfordshire so that I can meet you closer to where you live. Thank you to those that met with me - if you would like to book an appointment and have something specific you wish to discuss, please contact me here".
Robert said, "Thank you to staff at Katharine House Hospice for taking the time to meet with me, we had an interesting discussion about the service they provide, which I know has helped many people in West Oxfordshire."
Robert said, "We had a useful discussion about the impact of brexit, packaging and other issues on the coffee industry. As a product which many of us - including myself! - uses every day, I was grateful for the chance to discuss these issues in detail."
Robert said, "Great to visit this employee owned company based in West Oxfordshire. I was interested to learn how this has helped employees to feel invested in the long-term future of the company - I look forward to staying in touch!"
