Robert visited Thales, based at RAF Brize Norton. Thales provides the UK and the rest of the world with leading Aerospace, Space, Defence, Security and Transportation services and solutions - and employs many people here in West Oxfordshire. A really interesting visit!
Robert said, "Thanks to Witney Fire Station for welcoming me to training recently; great to talk to everyone and to see the historic Witney fire engine - was really interesting to see!"

Robert joined volunteers from the Berks Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust on a rainy day to carry out essential maintenance in Chimney Meadows.

Robert said, "This morning I have helped out at a Dementia Oxfordshire and Age UK "Golden Memories” support group for my Volunteering Week and World Alzheimer's Day. I hope I was upto scratch with my tea making skills!"
Robert greatly enjoyed meeting with parish councillors for Fulbrook to discuss local issues - and share a pint at the local pub - thanks to all for coming!
Robert said, "Great to chat with the team at brilliant local charity Base 33 - it really makes a difference giving your time to have a chat with local young people."
Robert said, "It was a fantastic visit to West Oxfordshire's wonderful Bridewell Organic Gardens mental health recovery garden, helping with tasks & meeting the team."
Robert said, "My Volunteering Week kicked off this morning in Eynsham with the Thames Path volunteer group, helping with path clearing & raising awareness of their vital work - thank you for letting me help out!"
