Robert said, "It's Dementia Action Week here in Witney, and I've been at Richmond Villages Witney where I have just trained to become a Dementia Friend Champion. But this is, really, very much about the community coming together. For years, we've been "turning Witney blue" - but now we are showing how we can face dementia together, and how people can really live well with dementia. So far: there's been a tea dance here at Witney, where over 100 people have enjoyed themselves, 80 people have been to the cinema - and thank you Cineworld Witney for everything you have done - & 50 people have been out on a sponsored walk. This is everyone coming together to show that you can really live well with dementia - and thank you, everybody, for everything that you have done."
