Robert said, "I am very concerned that Cogges Surgery is facing uncertainty - the last thing anyone wants in Witney is for another GP Practice to close.
"I will be speaking with patients and the practice, and have already been in contact Oxfordshire health bosses, to help construct a way forward. There are a number of solutions which can be explored.
"Since the closure of Deer Park, I have pressed for closer working between health bosses and planning authorities. We live in a growing area, and our health services should be growing to match this need. Now, for the first time health and planning authorities are working closely together to map future growth and need. All stakeholders need to pull together for our primary care services.
"There is a clear need for good access to GP services in Witney and I will keep fighting for a positive solution to be found."
