Robert said: "Congratulations to the Oxford Mental Health Partnership (OMHP) after their win today at the NHS Parliamentary Awards.
"Coming first place in the Excellence in Mental Health Care Award, OMHP have been recognised for their amazing work across Oxfordshire with people who live with complex mental health challenges.
"OMHP brings together six specialist mental health organisations to create positive initiatives that improve the lives of people living with mental health challenges. Teams offer a wide range of interventions including inpatient hospital care, community mental health and third sector services to get people back into employment, education, stable accommodation and relationships. OMHP provides a complete recovery package to over 6,000 people a year, supporting people through their journey, focusing on emotional and physical care and well-being, education and skills, employment, financial stability, housing.
"This holistic approach to care is exemplary. They are a truly deserving winner, a testament to Oxfordshire, and I am proud to have nominated them.
"OMHP weren't alone in being recognised at the awards. Many congratulations as well to another of my nominees, Carol Gee from the Vaughan Thomas Ward. It is not easy to be shortlisted for these awards, so having two local nominees is an outstanding achievement for Oxfordshire."
