We’ve all lost hours sat in traffic. Worried about road safety. Hoped for improved rail services or for the Council to repair more potholes. Or wished that there were better bus services or cycle routes for our rural local area.
So help me to deliver the improvements we all want to see.
Will you take my local transport survey, and help get better services delivered for you and your family?
Parliamentary boundaries are changing. At the next General Election, your area will become part of the Witney constituency, where I am the current Conservative Member of Parliament. That means that I will be on your ballot. I live in the centre of the new Witney constituency with my wife and two young children. I want to be the strong local champion that this area deserves: your local voice in Parliament - and that means hearing your views.
I want you to have your say on traffic and transport in Western Oxfordshire – Faringdon, Watchfield & Shrivenham, Thames villages, Kingston Bagpuize & Southmoor and the surrounding areas. And your response will help me take action.
From the potholes on our local rural roads. To the traffic and safety on the A420. To the need for an integrated transport network that links our villages to our towns, joining people with vital services and beyond.
There’s much been done - but there’s more to do. That’s why I’m working with local people to campaign for: Better Road Surfaces, improved road safety, an integrated local transport network for our rural area – and more buses, cycle routes, train services that work for us.
So, will you share your views on what you think will make a real difference for Western Oxfordshire?
I’ll be working closely with government to secure more investment in services. And with the Council, to make your views heard. But I can make our case even stronger if you take my survey.
