It was, as ever, a pleasure to visit RAF Brize Norton early in the New Year.
It was an honour to meet with the Marshall Group Team, who have done such excellent work on the C130J Hercules over the last few years. Whilst a sad moment as this legendary aircraft is shortly due to retire from service, we must find a way for 47 Squadron to live on.
It was also good to catch up with the station commander, Group Captain Claire O’Grady. I know I speak for all of West Oxfordshire when I wish Group Captain O’Grady the very best in her role and I look forward to continuing to work with her and her team in the coming months.
