I appeared on BBC South recently to discuss our campaign to protect West Oxfordshire's rivers and end pollution from storm overflows.
I will continue to press Thames Water to do more to upgrade our local sewerage infrastructure, in particular the vital expansion of Witney Sewage Treatment Works.
I am pleased that the Government is taking action on this nationally, with measures in the Environment Bill placing new legal duties on water companies. This supports the Government's generational ambition to ending harm from storm overflows, a system which has operated since the Victorian Era.
