Earlier today, Robert met the French Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Catherine Colonna, who had been at Blenheim Palace during the morning. The Ambassador was in West Oxfordshire to visit Churchill's birthplace and grave - to pay tribute to the great man on the 79th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
Robert said: "Thank you to Ambassador Colonna for a valuable discussion about the enduring friendship between our great nations. Your visit to Churchill's birthplace at Blenheim Palace and grave in my home village of Bladon is very much appreciated."
