Robert said: "A blisteringly hot Bank Holiday Monday for Shipton under Wychwood Village Fair today! A huge turnout on a beautiful day for this traditional village fair hosted on The New Beaconsfield Hall green in Shipton under Wychwood.
"And what a vast amount to do: Cotswold Canine Athletics, Hog Roast, Beer Tent, Brass Band, Pizza, Book Stall, Penny Arcade, WI Teas, White Elephant Stall, Falconry Display from J.E.T Falconry, Arts & Crafts - all raising money for local good causes.
"Huge congratulations to all involved in organising this successful event, especially Shipton-under-Wychwood Parish Council, and particular thanks to 2120 Witney Sqn ATC - Witney's squadron of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets - for running the car parking with such skill and organisation - under a relentlessly hot sun!"
