Robert said: "Congratulations to all the organisers of the annual Ramsden Village Fete for another wonderful event. The early morning rain and persistent strong wind clearly didn’t put anyone off, and the village hugely enjoyed all the activities laid on.

"There’s a lot involved in making these events happen, so very many thanks to everyone who organised, made cakes, served tea, directed traffic, provided space, brought tractors, ran the plant sale, donated raffle prizes, arranged entertainment for children, and ran the food stalls. A triumph - and thank you for all you do!"
