Robert spent this year's Small Business Saturday championing West Oxfordshire's small businesses in Burford - the “gateway to the Cotswolds” - which is frequently visited by people from all over the World.
Just a few of those who were taking part in Burford were MRS Bumbles Delicatessen, proudly serving Ue Coffee Roasters - from Witney - and Cotswold Honey from Burroughs Farm in Charlbury, the Cotswold Cheese Company, Sweet Shop Burford, Oxford Shirt Company and Country House Gifts, who were also collecting money for Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
Robert said: "The UK has over 5.6 million small businesses, which employ 16.3 million people - and as the West Oxfordshire Business Awards (WOBAs) show every year, some of the very best are in West Oxfordshire. I was pleased to spend this year's Small Business Saturday in Burford, championing the wonderful businesses there who do so much to bring colour and dynamism to this beautiful market town."
