Robert said, "Representing the largest airbase in the UK, home to a quarter of our air force, I decided to take part in the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme, focusing on the RAF. RAF Brize Norton plays such an important role not just in the daily lives of many residents, but also as a key part of our identity in West Oxfordshire.
"I have hugely enjoyed the opportunities I have had over the past year to understand the day to day work and pressures on the RAF, and have met many constituents posted all over the country. My final posting was to Cyprus – where even there I bumped into many ‘West Oxfordians’!"
