Robert said, "This is great news for commuters in West Oxfordshire, both for those travelling to Cowley for work - as they can avoid congestion on the A40 - and for those travelling elsewhere, as there will be fewer cars on the roads.

"This is something I have been arguing for, most recently in my 'Future of the GWR franchise' consultation response (which you can read below), and I look forward to seeing how this progresses."
