"It was a joy to spend Christmas here: the Mayor's Carols in Woodstock; the Christmas Fair at Bladon School; the Carol Services at St Martin's; and the beautiful image of a snow-covered Blenheim. These were only a few of the many highlights of the festive period.
"By the time you read this, Christmas will seem like a distant memory and we will be well into the new year, enjoying the lengthening days and – if I am being very optimistic! – some slightly warmer weather.
"The New Year will see me back to work in Parliament and Westminster, as I start my second full year as your Member of Parliament. My priority is, and always has been, ensuring that your voices are heard here in Parliament. It is so important that constituents understand the work I do, since politics is so much more than what is presented by the media. I was proud to have recently welcomed Woodstock CE Primary School to Parliament for a fascinating tour and some time in the new Education Centre learning about everything that goes on here. Do let me know if you would be interested in having a free tour or watching a debate, as I would be very glad to arrange this. You can find out more about what you can do on a visit to Parliament at http://robertcourts.co.uk/westminster/visiting-westminster.
"I look forward to meeting many more of you around Woodstock and Bladon, and if you see me do feel free to stop me for chat. Failing that, if you would like to contact me about any issue, please do email me at robert@robertcourts.co.uk – I would greatly appreciate hearing your views."
