RAF Brize Norton is hoping to inspire secondary school pupils to get involved in science and engineering through a new collaboration.
The air base has joined up with nearby Carterton Community College to produce a 'STEM Partnership Plan 2019-20', which will support students in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
The programme, which was instigated by Witney MP Robert Courts, will include 'bespoke challenges', assemblies focusing on the STEM subjects and careers taster days.
