Robert said: "I am delighted to report that the walk-in vaccine clinic in Witney was a huge success, with almost 5,000 local residents receiving their jabs.
"The walk-in clinic, which was open for nearly two weeks and closed yesterday evening, was able to administer 4,887 vaccinations in total, which is a truly extraordinary achievement. This local site has made a real difference in protecting our communities this winter.
"Thank you to the thousands of local people who came forward for their jabs and to everyone at West Oxfordshire District Council and Oxford Health NHS Trust who made this all happen."
