Robert has welcomed today's announcement by the Government and the rail industry of the launch of a new rail ombudsman.
Robert said: "I am delighted with the launch of a new rail service ombudsman. This represents a massive step forward for passengers' rights and fulfils an important Government commitment.
"Whilst I continue to campaign for improved rail services locally, it is vital that when poor service occurs passengers can get redress and are treated with respect when doing so."
