Robert said: "It was a pleasure to be invited to visit the mass vaccination centre at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford today. A truly extraordinary and inspiring operation is underway here, with staff and volunteers working flat out to deliver the vaccine to around 1,000 people a day.
"The site is playing a crucial role in delivering the vaccine to local residents in West Oxfordshire and across our county. An enormous thank you to everyone at Oxford Health NHS Trust for managing such an efficient site and to staff and volunteers for your amazing efforts.
"I encourage everyone contacted by the NHS to come forward and receive their vaccine as soon as possible. The vaccine is safe, effective – and will help protect you and your community from the virus."
