Today's Budget delivers on our promises to the British people - to support families and help them with the cost of living, to level-up infrastructure, and to invest in Britain's future.

Here's my top 10 announcements from the Budget:

🏥 £30 Billion Coronavirus Stimulus Package to support the NHS, workers and businesses

💼 Business rates abolished this year for businesses with rateable value under £51,000

🚗 Fuel Duty frozen for tenth consecutive year - beer, cider, wine and spirit duty all frozen too

📈 Increasing the Employment Allowance so businesses can grow and create more well-paid jobs

🛣️ A new £2.5 billion pothole fund to fill 50 million potholes by the end of this Parliament

🎖️ Tax breaks to encourage more businesses to employ veterans

🔬 Increase investment in R&D to £22bn a year - the fastest and the largest increase in R&D spend ever

♻️ Introduce a plastic packaging tax to tackle plastic pollution

🌳 £1bn investment in green transport solutions

💷 Increase NI threshold to £9,500 this April, benefiting 31 million people with a typical employee saving over £100 in 2020
