I welcome the Government's delivery of a Broadband Universal Service Obligation (USO), and am convinced that we need to go further to ensure that new-build homes come complete with high-quality connectivity.
"It is inexcusable in the 21st Century for new homes to be built with slow or unreliable connections, which restrict residents' ability to work from home, pay bills online, or simply to enjoy streaming services. That is why I want there to be a legal obligation on developers and operators to deliver world-class digital connections to new homeowners."
