Robert was the keynote speaker at the Community Transport Association seminar in Westminster, looking at the importance of communities being at the heart of transport innovation.
Robert said, "I greatly enjoyed to chance to speak at a recent meeting of the Community Transport Association. In West Oxfordshire, we have many enterprising community groups looking to ensure that residents can travel where they want to go. I spoke about the great work of Our Bus Bartons, who just celebrated their first anniversary.
"Community transport is about more than getting from A to B; it’s social and it’s about working together for the benefit of all. I will continue to urge other parts of the country to learn from our best practice, and push to ensure that projects like Our Bus Bartons can continue to grow."
