Robert Continues Campaign to Deliver B4044 Cycle Path

Robert has continued his efforts to deliver the B4044 Community Cycle Path between Eynsham and Botley, visiting the site of the proposed path with Oxfordshire County Council Leader, Ian Hudspeth, Eynsham District Councillor, Ed James, and Oxford West & Abingdon Candidate James Fredrickson. Robert followed up this site visit by writing to new Transport Ministers George Freeman and Chris Heaton-Harris to emphasise the benefits of the B4044 Community Path and to urge the Government to support its delivery.

This Summer Robert led a parliamentary debate on Active Travel infrastructure in which he championed the B4044 Community Path, also meeting with the Transport Secretary to lobby him on the matter.

Robert said: "I continue to campaign tirelessly to deliver this important project which would provide much-needed active travel infrastructure for West Oxfordshire."
