Robert said: "Together with my Conservative Environment Network colleagues, I am calling for strong air quality targets in the forthcoming Environment Bill. In January the Government outlined its Clean Air Strategy, which I welcome, and the next stage of this will be introducing clear targets in the Environment Bill to reduce air pollutants and their associated health effects.
"I am thinking in particular of Horsefair in Chipping Norton and Bridge Street in Witney, which are two local areas that need to be addressed - as well as the need for wider national and international action to improve air quality."
