Robert said: "I was pleased to speak in a powerful debate on protection for Northern Ireland veterans. Following on from positive steps forward last week, we now need to see the political courage and will necessary to protect those who served in the UK as well as abroad.
"Those who served in Northern Ireland are entitled to know that their country has got their back, just as they had their country’s back at the time of maximum peril.
"We have had enough talk. We need action - and we need it now."
