Government Support in West Oxfordshire

New figures released today show the huge amount of Government support that has been made available locally in response to the Coronavirus pandemic - protecting jobs and businesses across West Oxfordshire.

  • 15,600 local jobs have been protected via the furlough scheme;
  • £15,500,000 has been paid in grants to support local self-employed people;
  • £49,009,346 has been paid to local small businesses in the form of Bounce Back Loans;
  • £26,214,593 has been paid out in grants to local firms.
