"I was pleased to host my first “Ask the GWR” event in the Memorial Hall in February. Many of you made clear your concerns about the current state of rail services in your correspondence to me over the Christmas period. Being a regular commuter from Hanborough, I am fully aware of how much we rely on our rail service providers, and how important it is that these services run to time. I therefore decided that local residents should have the opportunity to speak to GWR and Network Rail directly, to raise these concerns and learn more about future plans to improve rail services on the North Cotswold Line. If you were able to attend, I do hope you found this evening informative and helpful. I hope to host similar “Ask the…” events in the future – so watch this space!
"Furthermore, as you may know, the Government has opened a consultation on future services across the Great Western network, particularly with regard to how services can be improved and what we want to see GWR prioritise.
"As ever, please do not hesitate to contact me should you wish to raise any issue with me, or simply to make me aware of your views. You can email me at robert@robertcourts.co.uk, or if you do see me out and about, do stop me for a chat."
