Healthcare has been my top priority since being elected. I have repeatedly raised the lack of consultation surrounding the proposed closure of Deer Park Medical Centre with Oxfordshire health bosses. I want to let residents have their say and am keen to better understand constituents' concerns about healthcare.

Fill in my Local Health Survery here and see all the work I have done on residents' and patients' behalf regarding Deer Park here.

It is great to have so many local independent shops and small businesses in our market towns. I'll back them to ensure they continue to grow.

I am fighting the corner of small businesses who are affected by the revaluation of business rates.  I am doing everything possible as your MP to ensure that the impact of this revaluation is not unfairly shouldered by small businesses.  I have regularly met with Ministers to lobby for the interests of our small businesses. One of my top priorities is ensuring that West Oxfordshire businesses continue to thrive, and that the UK has a climate which encourages enterprise.

West Oxfordshire is a thriving area with many small businesses and I will word hard to ensure our thriving local economy continues and grows, providing even more good jobs for local people.

We've made some real progress on this issue, but we must keep up the pressure on BT, Broadband Delivery UK and all levels of government to secure 100% superfast broadband across West Oxfordshire. That means continuing the rollout of high speed broadband for all homes, including those in hard-to-reach rural areas.

As a parent, I know it's important to have great local schools to choose from. In West Oxfordshire, we've got good schools. But I want to ensure that Government and local councils work together to deliver even more good school places so every child has the opportunity to realise their full potential.

See my campaign regarding the National Funding Formula here.

We must ensure our children aren't priced out of their own community. That means more homes that local people can actually afford in Witney, Carterton and Chipping Norton. But I do not want large scale unsustainable development that destroys West Oxfordshire's unique local character or our countryside. Any new homes must come with the schools places and health services to support them.

Our community needs better roads and infrastructure. Living in Bladon, I know first-hand that we urgently need better public transport to relieve congestion on the A40 and in towns and villages. Improvements to tackle safety and congestion on the A34 are long overdue. We need action on HGV traffic through Burford, Chipping Norton and Woodstock.
