There are lots of wonderful volunteering groups springing up all over West Oxfordshire, looking to help those who are self-isolating or ill, and I have brought together some of the advice that is available on how to do this safely and well, on this page - as well as links to those who are offering help in their local area.
Help, Guidance & Advice
There's some helpful guidance on how to do this, and how to do it safely, here.
There is a safeguarding factsheet here.
West Oxfordshire District Council's guidance is here.
Local Groups
I have teamed up with Volunteer Link-Up, a wonderful local charity - of which I am a Patron - which is co-ordinating volunteering efforts in West Oxfordshire, and the details of anyone who signs up will be passed on to them. Volunteering with Volunteer Link-Up will mainly involve delivering shopping and essentials to those self-isolating, and you can find out about that here.
Please do not also forget about the NHS Volunteer Responders, which has been set up to support the NHS during the COVID-19 outbreak. You can find out more, including how to sign up, here.
